UC Davis UAS Project

Overview of the Unmanned Airborne Systems (UAS) Project I started at the University of California, Davis as an undergraduate student. 

After winning a $10,000 sustainability research grant from the California State Center for Information Technology in the Interest of Society (CITRIS),  I formed and led a team of students to design, build and operate an affordable Airborne Remote-Sensing System for Environmental Monitoring.

2016 UC Carbon Slam

Grad students from all Universities of California shared their climate change research at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Park.

I presented the UCD UAS Project that I hoped to continue as a graduate student and won 2nd place in Climate Impacts.

2021 ASPRS Conference 

Dr. Barbara Eckstein and I presented on the progress of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Project 4001 - Standard for Characterization and Calibration of Hyperspectral Imaging Devices at the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Annual Conference.
